Daniele Giachini is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Economics and Department EMbeDS of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Pisa, Italy. He got his PhD in Economics from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in 2015 with a dissertation on Evolutionary Finance and, from 2015 to 2018, he was research fellow at the same institution. He visited the department of Banking and Finance of University of Zurich and contributed to the European Project DOLFINS. His research interest lies at the intersection between the microeconomics of financial markets and information theory, with a focus on evolutionary finance, market selection, behavioral economics, statistical learning.
